Hey Boils and Ghouls....

It looks like they're to reopen the crypt and give the ol' Cryptkeeper some new life er after after life...

After fifteen years since the original series ended it’s seven year run on the channel HBO, a new series is on the horizon based on the 1950′s EC Comics anthology which is being helmed by Gil Ander, the producer of the HBO Crypt series, Andrew Cosby, co-creator of SyFy’s Eureka and co-founder of Boom! Studios.
The new hour-long series will not be related to the original show and neither will it be an anthology, Andrew Cosby said; “It will be an ongoing series that uses characters from the comic books in a more modern context,” Cosby said. “It’s all about continually elevating the genre, for both existing fans of the source material and mainstream audiences.”
A pitch has been completed in which the producers will take the project out shortly. It will be pitched to broadcast networks as well as cable outlets soon.

Shameless' Slasher Set

SLASHER BOX SET

Just in time for Halloween, Shameless are releasing a box set containing not one, not two but three of their brilliant DVDs!

The Slasher Box Set will contain Killer Nun, Torso and Night Train Murders! As yet I have no details on how this will be packaged or what will come in the way of artwork as Shameless are still deciding so why not use this thread to share your thoughts with them?

The Slasher Box Set will be released on DVD by Shameless Screen Entertainment on 24 October 2011.

FOUR FLIES ON GREY VELVET

 Shameless announce ‘Four Flies on Grey Velvet’!

Shameless Screen Entertainment have today announced plans to release Dario Argento’s classic film Four Flies on Grey Velvet to mark the 40th anniversary of its production, and twenty years after the film disappeared from the public eye. Shameless are reportedly aiming to release the film, remastered in HD, from the original negative by the original lab!

It’s all a-buzz at Shameless!  After two years of behind the scene negotiations via their “Italian connection”, Shameless Screen Entrainment is proud to announce that they will soon release the missing Argento opus: Four Flies on Grey Velvet – or, fact fans, what more accurately should be called Four Flies of Grey Velvet – as per the literal translation of Quattro Mosche Di Velluto Grigio.
It doesn’t stop there, Shameless have put their investigative caps on and – pending the availability of the original filmmaking team – they intend to discover for their fans what really happened to Dario Argento’s “lost” film…

Four Flies on Grey Velvet will be released on Blu-ray and DVD by Shameless Screen Entertainment on 5th December 2011.
